The paid survey has been around forever,it was one of the first things I saw in the 90′s as a way to make money from home.

They where alright back then, the surveys took some time as internet speed was slow as and you got paid. My first payment was $35 it took me 2 weeks to get it and about 4 hours of actual work.

Fastforward to 2011 and paid surveys are everywhere. There are hundreds of companies that will ‘pay’ you for your opinion.

Now let’s define ‘PAY’

Very few sites pay in actual cash. You get points or something similar that you can exchange for products or vouchers. very few pay you in cash per survey.

The sites that pay cash are hard to find and harder to get into. The real money is in companies conducting surveys for market research or even focus groups for themselves.

What I mean is that most paid survey companies collect the data and then sell it. rather than sell their services and collect specific data for a particular companies product.

They do not have the cash to pay you upfront.

If paid surveys is your goal then hook up with a legitimate survey company that does contract work on behalf of large business.
I found that companies that do mystery shopping often also offer this type of service.

twice I have used mystery shopping companies to get at the paid survey that pays real money the moment you finish it. The surveys are quite in depth and often require a purchase that is refunded at payout time.

To be honest it is sometime more product test than survey.

If you keep joining different companies you will have loads of points in your account and very little cash.

Either look outside the Box or buy a membership to a proper survey company. The fee is to show your keeness and to weed out useless survey takers.

You will never make a full time living from free to join survey sites the pay would be less than minimum wage and your brain would shrink from lack of use.

Hope this rant has helped the Newer people from wasting too much time. If your serious then do research and be prepared to spend the next 12 months establishing a reputation. Then you will get the good stuff.

Paid surveys have been around for a LONG TIME, Way back in 1998 I joined my first Paid survey group and made $35. It was the first cheque I ever got from the Internet.

If you have been trying to make money on the Internet and You have been ripped off and Scammed then maybe it’s time to go back to basics. How many times have you been promised the latest thing only to have it blow up in your face.

There really is only one way to guarantee that you will get paid when you join an Internet based company. That way is to join opportunities that reward you for completing a task. $36 is a good hourly rate for any job, it is an EXCELLENT rate to be getting paid to work from home. (you can make more than this if you choose)

Paid surveys Now provide a proportion of my earnings every year, I call it my base earnings. It is the money that no matter what happens with my other ventures it will get paid to me. I maintain about $500 a month from completing paid surveys and I have been Mystery Shopping as well.

I’m telling you right NOW, if you really want to make some money using your computer while working from Home than ditch the get rich quick B.S. Go Back to basics and join a Paid survey company.

Spend the time that you each day to make money from home actually making money Instead of :

• writing articles that don’t get read,
•  posting ads that don’t get clicked,

• Getting excited, then deflated, then angry, then a refund.

Just had an Interesting Phone call from one of the newsletter subscribers, This person has everything they need to be a success online except MONEY. We talked for a while and I realised that most people think that to start your online business you are going to have to spend money.

The truth is this, YOU will Need to spend money to make a truly successful business. Domain names, Hosting accounts, Internet access, advertising and Learning material. It all costs Money.

In 2009 your biggest advantage is that there is plenty of money out there that you can get for Free. Money that you can start earning right now. Once you receive that Money you then Invest in the tools and education necessary to take your income to the next level.

When I decided to make the Internet my Income vehicle i did not want to risk my own money, as many of you know I lost many thousands of dollars some years ago and I was never going there again it was horrible. In One month you can generate enough money for a domain name and 6 months Hosting.

If you Started TODAY, in 30 days you could have a website that you own, an asset you can build and make more money off. Adding to the website costs Nothing! You add content and build the amount of pages you have. Placing adsense links, or selling products will generate way more money than the $50 you got from paid surveys to start this website.

Month 2 May see you earn your $50 from paid surveys plus another $50 from the website you Now own. That is $100. So in 2 Months you have gone from ZERO to $100 and you still have your website that is growing daily as you add content and build it up.

Free paid surveys, Its sounds so good in the ads, Upto $150 an hour just giving your opinion on different topics. But are the FREE Paid surveys a way to Internet Income or just a big scam?

Look there is no easy way to say this, I would estimate that 75% + of the free paid survey sites offer you little to no chance of making any real Money online from Home. It is not that they are scams it is just they do not have the ability to attract the HIGH paying companies.

It is easy to start a Paid a survey site, Just make a good landing page, Put in a Form to join and make outrageous Income promises. The people that see the site are looking for money fast, it is free to join so why not have a go.
Unfortunatley many of these sites are set up as List Building pages and do nothing but open up your inbox to a flood of spam. (Don’t believe every privacy statement)

So can you use the free paid survey sites to actually make cash?
YES you can, there are sites out there that are 100% Legit and will pay you in cash to take surveys and look at companies offers. Having said that I firmly believe that trying to make anything above a few dollars is Impossible.

If you join a Company Like Rewards Central or My Opinions they will reward you by giving you points that you exchange for cash. These 2 companies have been around for a long time and you may remember them as “emailcash” back in the day.

The offers are genuine and consistent, i get a survey every few days from My Opinions and email constantly from Rewards Central. But the money that you earn is reall chicken feed. if you apply yourself you will get around 2-3,000 points a month OFFERED to you from My Opinions. Points are Not worth a dollar each. This would equate to around $20-$30. Not much for a months work.

Sure you can refer people and get more points that way, you get 200 Points once per referral, so you need to keep finding new ones all the time. A pain In the but for such a little reward.

You Can really get bogged down in these sites for hours trying to earn more points, when you cash them the $30 lasts 3 minutes at the pub and your back to reading emails and filling out forms again. BORING!!!

The secret to making Money from FREE paid survey sites is to LEVERAGE whatever you earn and make it work for you. You can Make excellent money from Free paid surveys if you use the small amounts you earn to re-invest in yourself.

Let’s say you spend a Month doing surveys and you get $30, you could buy dinner down the pub and a few beers or you could Invest in the course on search engine optimistaion, or Buy a New domain name, or Start a pay per click campaign.

This is my opinion here: I believe that free paid survey is the best and easiest way to get some money to spend on building a business that has nothing to do with Free paid surveys.

By Putting in a few hours work on the domain name you have a website that can give you back way more than $30 you got from filling out surveys.

If you are looking to get a few dollars to put into your business for free then the free paid suvey is a perfect way to do that. If you want a business online but don’t have any money then spend a month or 2 earning some dollars at free paid survey sites. Just make sure they are legit and make sure you re-invest that money in something meaningful.

I have yet to find a FREE Paid survey site that you can get rich off FAST. The only way to earn more money is to fill out more surveys, if that is good for you then get into it, you will need to fill out a lot of surveys and you will need more than 1 company to send them to you.

To be honest this time of year is a good time to get into paid surveys, there are more offers around now that any other time of the year.

Just do not think that Tommorrow you will wake up and have 20 surveys in your inbox paying $25 each, it probably won’t happen. No It definately won’t happen.
