Internet and Home Business, If you do this you lose.

G’day readers,

I have been on a thread in the warrior forum regarding a product I use and endorse, I will not mention it as I don’t want you to think this some type of sales pitch.

It amazes me how many people just bloody Give up.

I believe Sales Has NOT changed at all in 100’s and 100’s of years. It is the same as it is has always been. You buy something for less than you can sell it for and make a profit. OR You position yourself between the buyer and seller and make a commission as an agent.

Sales is and always has been a Numbers game. That’s it! No secret formula NO Mind blowing NEW concept, Just simple Numbers. if you want to make more sales you need to 1st get more customers, 2nd Increase your product offerings so those customers can buy more from you.

The biggest mistake People make in Internet and home business is this!

They believe that sales has changed. They believe that math No Longer matters to them, they have forgotten this is Just a game of Numbers. The basic concepts have not changed , What has changed is how we get our customers and how we convince them to buy.

You see if conversions are 1% that means that you need 100 people to make 1 sale, Pretty easy to work out. Now here is where a lot go pair shaped, the 1% conversion does NOT mean that every single time your hit counter clicks 99 the next click is the sale. Sometimes in a batch of 100 clicks you will make 25 or 30 sales, sometimes you may not get a sale for 2, 3 or even 400 Clicks or more.

What is absolutely certain is that the longer the campaign runs the closer to math it will be. When looking at data you need to look at Big Numbers. It is No use making your decision based on the results of a useless $20 campaign and 50 or 60 clicks.

Here is where it gets really simple, if a product can show you a 1% conversion rate over a period of time, using the resources they provide, then you need to run the math and run it for long enough to let it work.

What I am saying is that you need to hang in there, you need to keep pushing Numbers to the sales pages. Your Block of 5, 10 or even 20+ Sales might be in the Next 100 clicks.

Sometimes you promote a product and see a result straight away, That is a good feeling but a rare one for me. More Often the sales and conversions come at the BACK end of the campaign or even AFTER the campaign has finished.

I have learnt that if I want to make the numbers work i need to make them as big as I can. If I believe in a product and I also believe the math I am seeing, then I know that If I persist and sometimes take a risk then I will make money. (Probably)

Now having said that sometimes you make a bad decision, sometimes you write crap ad, sometimes you get the wrong market and the clicks are worthless. There are 1,000 things that go wrong!

Do not think if you build a page and run the numbers you make money. You need to use proven methods, the exact methods that provided those statistics in the first place.

If you are about to give up ask yourself these questions,

1. Did I use the tools that i was provided with to the best of my ability?

2. Did I try and use my own tactics instead of the ones that where given to me, the proven ones that my parent company invested huge amounts of money to develop?

3. Did I really try hard enough?

4. Did I give the tools and resources I was given long enough to work or did I think to myself “This is the one where I will wake up rich in the morning”. When that didn’t happen I went straight to the nearest forum and told everyone how much my company sucks?

5. Is my big Block of sales in the next 100 Clicks? If I give up now will I miss them?

Please if you believe a product or service can provide a benefit to the customer then Put 100% of your effort into it. Put 100% of the available resources you have into that 1 Thing and it will work.

ALWAYS stick to your Budget and remember that the internet provides the ability for you to spend TIME, rather than MONEY to get as many clicks to the sales pages as you can.

If you can afford $100, then Invest the entire $100. If you can’t afford any money and your Budget is 4 hours a day online, then spend 240 minutes promoting your product or service. That means 240 minutes promoting! Stats checking, researching surfing aimlessly should be done outside this budgetted time.

In order to Succeed you need to persist and stick with the product or service you have chosen. if you honestly made a mistake then admit that and move on. But make sure you reaaly gave 100%.

99.9% is not enough, you need to leave the field completely exhausted and drained, inside your set limits of course.

DO NOT GIVE UP NOW your Numbers will work and you will succeed if you persist and make your numbers as BIG as you can.

I hope that makes sense I am very passionate about what I do, may times I have given up, once for 3+ years. Since I have been back on the Internet I have seen products that I gave up on make people fortunes. I always wonder If I hUng in there back in 2000 how would my life be different now?

That’s why in april 2009 I quit an $80,000+ a year job to work at home. I am 100% committed I have budgeted and made sure my family is safe throughout this journey, I know what I need to make to survive, I know what I need to do to get rich. I am Now Just Running the numbers and trying to make them as Big as I can.

My Financial budget is small but my Time budget is BIG. As my Income grows I use the money to buy time for myself. If I can afford it and believe in it then I will use money to get my numbers rather than my time.

Now I’ll stop.

Take care, Hang in there and Join the private area if you need someone to talk to who does not operate from a budget in the thousands but still manages to feed, cloth and house the crew and keep the boat fuelled up.
